Something Fun: The Compendium of Readerly Terms from Powell's Books
Here is something fun I found at Powell's Books' online blog. It's called the Compendium of Readerly Terms. In their words, the Compendium is " a list of bibliocentric words and phrases that really should be in the common parlance." All of the words and phrases contained in it relate in some way to reading or to books. At first, the Compendium was top secret, but starting in late August 2015, the folks at Powell's started gradually releasing the contents to the outside world. I'll let you know what they've come up with in future posts.
